Living in the vibrant city of Oakland, East Bay, she lives with her mother Elaine, the Lady of the Lake, and is still healing from the loss of her father. As a 23-year-old college student, Faye shares laughter and adventures with her no-nonsense best friend Embyr, who's known for her sharp wit. One fateful night, Faye attends a glamorous bonfire party in the exclusive Kensington Hills, above Berkeley. There, she meets Arthur Drake, a billionaire playboy, who unbeknownst to her, is the reincarnation of King Arthur. After a passionate one-night stand, she wakes up to find out that he's now her stepbrother, adding a surprising twist to their connection. As Faye uncovers her newfound abilities, she encounters Devona, or Merlin, a bewitching woman who draws Faye inexplicably close. Together with Arthur, Faye, and Embyr, they embark on thrilling adventures, confronting deadly foes, battling mythical creatures (including the enigmatic horsemen), and strive to protect Avalon and Earth, all while grappling with the immense personal sacrifices required of them.
