A low, menacing growl startled her, and her eyes darted towards the door just as it burst open. 466 stood there, his luxurious brown hair tousled as if he had used a hairdryer in reverse to achieve that tousled, full look. His narrowed, dark eyes betrayed his anger. She could tell he had caused the commotion. A guard followed him into the room, pushing him forward. "Here he is. He wasn't too keen, but we managed to convince him. Four of his men had to persuade him to come willingly, or we'd have had to restrain him," the guard said, casting a disdainful glance at 466. "He put up quite a fight." Feeling a pang of empathy, Joy requested, "Please, have a seat, 466." "It appears I have no choice," he replied coolly, sauntering over to her desk chair and seating himself with a force that made the furniture creak. "Freedom seems like a distant memory now."
