Am I the only one who is bothered by the author suddenly turning Maid Lotus into a whore on a whim in half a chapter??(around chapter 100)I mean.. You dont do that after building up a character that much😢I was hoping that Maid Lotus will b MC's waifu😢😭
The premise was good and the story started out very strong. Though the MC was a little dumb, he had strong morals and gentlemanly character. The side characters and many beauties were also treated kindly. However, halfway through the novel, it's like the author was switched for someone else. Most of the beauties were tossed aside, the MC became less chivalrous, and thr writing became disjointed and muddled. Dropped at Chapter 122.
I really love this novel! It is quite fast paced -which i like-, the translator rarely misses an update, while the quality is really good and has shown improvement steadily. As for the novel itself, there is not much of a character development going on. For the MC yes but not for anyone else. So many characters are left behind. They may apear radomly as well so we get a sneak pick on what they have been up to, but the (chapter) gaps get bigger as the story develops. The same goes for world building. Not many details -which i ironically like- just enough to get you excited but by the time the MC moves on you still haven't discovered even a small part of a place. That can be the result of the fast pace the author is writing to get the interest going.I am quite concerned on how it is going to end. It reminds me of another novel development-wise and a second one world-building wise. We will see! All in all, it is a great pick if you like fast paced plots, a quite powerful MC and do not mind the world and character development. Oh, i have read up until 648 if anyone wonders. Please be patient when you start reading it- 100ish chapters at least if i remember correctly-. It gets better!
Welp, this story definitely starts with a bang. The atmosphere definitely feels like that of a new gen school, what with the adherence to technology, and of course, the over-the-top hype for pretty much anything that's entertaining or nice to look at. The story is definitely moving at a nice pace, and Darica... yeahhh. She's the bang of the story. wonder how that ties in with the Prologue
Sup I'm voting out of good will, as an author who has a novel that's pretty much at the bottom rank its nice to see one that's basically made for free instead of locked chapters but it's fine to lock chapters if writing is basically ur job lol. I really wish the best for us not well known authors lmao
