Karish

I couldn't make out the man standing in front of me. He was larger than I imagined, towering over me with every muscle tensely displayed, his clenched jaws betraying a mix of disdain and fury etched across his face. He seemed like an angry giant, with veins bulging in his nose and fiery eyes. Unconsciously, my hands reached out and rested on his chest. Surprisingly, I sensed a sudden relaxation in his body as my touch calmed him. His breathing slowed, and a gentler expression replaced the earlier intensity – he reminded me of the kind Karish I knew. "Could you please be quieter?" I whispered softly. He abruptly looked at me, folding his arms around my waist and pulling me into an embrace. I felt him inhale deeply through my hair, then rest his head gently on my shoulder. I raised my arms and wrapped them around his neck, allowing us to share this brief, intimate moment. It was a warm, comforting hug, akin to being in a familiar and beloved space – a sense of belonging that made me feel right where I was supposed to be.
