well, the story passes the message but I would say a great job to the author, managing to get all characters in place and hoping to see more work than this in the future.
This is the sequel to one of my favorite books, Exodus: The Assassin's Path. GnG picks up the adventures with 20-year-old QJ as the MC. It releases 4 or 5 chapters a week and is well written. There are plenty of new chapters and a new Exodus game introduced, Guns and Gore. For the die-hard TAP fans, Leah, Quinn, Mojo and the rest are present and active in this sequel. Worth the read.
The translation is good. But the characters are written the way a typical author from China would write: like stereotypes of races and how some are just straight out associated with thugs and the general bad crowd. It's not for everyone, not me and it's not the type of apocalyptic novel I enjoy. The first 60 chpts focus on pre-apocalypse and a little of the Apocalypse. I actually read this somewhere else. But I forgot where. Sorry. Some people like a certain genre like face-slapping etc, so some people might like this kind of book. The background and characters are similar to the "The Great Worm Lich"
Im trying to read this, but its messy as heck. The numbers rarely make sense in relation to whats happening to the point Iโd say the author shouldnโt have done a system. Most writers shouldnโt because its really messy with a lot math involved behind the scenes to make everything work well that most just never do. The way the creatures work donโt make sense, and fights are either too long, or just messy because of grammar to the point I skipped paragraphs. The character is almost none existent outside of standard MC tropes. I mean literally he clears a dungeon by himself, and finds an earing that was part of his old set of gear when he was a top player. Then proceeds to kill creatures in groups despite being lower level with less skills. He is apparently building a combat mage that can do everything. The author warns about the bad grammar, but wonโt fix it. Its just lazy I now understand why I got free fast passes for this novel. Please donโt waste your time on this novel.
