Grace Anderson, a captivating young woman with a straightforward and guarded demeanor, rarely exhibits joy, as evidenced by her scarce smiles and laughter. Her life has been marked by numerous scars, teaching her the value of trust in hard ways. On the other hand, Dean Ryan, a handsome fellow, boasts an upbeat and optimistic personality, always radiating cheerfulness through his warm smile. Their paths crossed unexpectedly on Grace's first day at college when Dean, in a moment of carelessness, nearly collided with her near an ice cream stand. Despite their contrasting natures, a genuine friendship blossomed between them. As they spent more time together, Grace found herself opening up to Dean, trusting him with her heart. Dean's affection for Grace went beyond admiration; he cherished every aspect of her, even her imperfections. The way she nibbled her lips, the way his name sounded when she said it, the perfect fit of their hands, her love for ice cream, her passion for poetry – these small details consumed his heart. His feelings for her could be described as an intense, almost obsessive adoration. However, their love was not without its challenges, but their deep bond was strong enough to weather any storm. Like all love stories, theirs began with a spark, but as fate would have it, their journey also had an inevitable conclusion.

I don't understand why stupid fucking Authors think this sort of character has any sort of appeal. What the author is trying to do is just give the mc the moral high ground. Why? For no reason. She doesn't even need to stand on a moral high ground.
Don't read it. This is like all other novels/mangas out there.
This is a waste of time.
