The only thing I could say is, the narration is like a bolt of lightning. Way too fast and direct, more like an essay rather than a story. In my case, I could barely feel the atmosphere. The situation is throwing you here and there. Less emotions, not that engaging. Update please thank you. I was shocked first because ML is 30 and FL is 15. After thinking at the bright sight, this is not  modern era novel background. So it was an acceptable.
