Ariana Ferrer, once a humble servant in the Arcadia Kingdom, was unexpectedly thrust into a life-changing situation when she was accused of a crime she didn't commit. At just eighteen, her parents, disowning her, sent her to work at the palace before her birthday celebrations. Accused of the murder of King Markus' concubine, Amaya, Ariana found herself wrongly imprisoned and faced execution. King Markus, however, granted her a chance at redemption. He agreed to spare her life on one condition: she must become his nightly companion. Despite her innocence, Ariana reluctantly accepted, hoping to clear her name. Over the course of a month, she endured the weight of her double role as a slave and concubine amidst the kingdom's turmoil. Amidst the chaos of a rogue attack, Ariana managed to survive while the rest perished, including King Markus. Two months later, she encountered Arem, fell in love, and they were married. But on a fateful night under the full moon, she transformed into a frightened she-wolf, fleeing her husband in fear. Disappearing from her old life, Ariana's story remained a mystery until Anika Perez, a strong and possessive Luna, appeared in modern times. With a cold heart, Anika's fate changed when she met Argus Mateo, a compassionate man determined to win her affection. The question remains: will Ariana, the gentle she-wolf from the past, ever resurface, or will she remain an enigma, forever tied to her duplicate Luna persona in the present?

The beginning is very bad and very confusing (about 150 chapters), although it is true that the plot and the characters get interesting later on. But also to mention that the end of the story as well as some intermediate plots of the story leave much to be desired and leave you with a bad taste in your mouth. And finally the protagonist, you will feel that except for a few occasions, the protagonist has forgotten that she has a brain to use it and is almost always saved by the plot armor.
I gave it 3* in the review simply because it hooked me enough to finish the story, otherwise I would have given it 2*.
