    This book has standard Chinese romance elements: 1) 2 sisters want the same man, 2) hero hates heroine due to Big Lie, but later loves. 3) a much-wanted baby lost by late term miscarriage or death, 4) glimpses into subcultures, eg, students, military, artists, peasants, and super rich. Worth a read.

    The bored general with his indifferent face looked at the paintings on the wall. There were no digitally made pictures only handmade ones in the gallery. It was a new experience to look at paintings in real life. Because of the Empires technology and its convenience, most of the pictures are digitally made or just holograms.
