Can we just talk about how bad the cover is? wtf is this bs, are you trying to turn us readers away??? I really should take off 3 starts just because of the cover, but I'm a nice person.

The first 200 chapters are very good because they are focused on the MC. The MC has a very well thought out background. The story pacing and world building is good until you get to chapter 250. After you hit the 300 chapter mark, the writer switches the focus from hero building to setting up for a kingdom building novel and you literally spend tons of chapters on side characters, to-be-killed antagonist, and other horribly boring plots in the novel (filler content).If it wasn't for the novel killing kingdom building content, this novel would be up there in the series rankings but sometimes you just have to expect that the writers actually are aiming to write about a kingdom building novel and the MC is really only there to start out the novel. Maybe I will come back to this novel when all the current arc is done because it is over 33 heavens-tier boring.Maybe it's not kingdom building but it certainly is a lot of off screen time for the MC in terms of time off screen and frequency between each off screen session.

Nice plot but pretty repetitive. A lot of information is repeated. Like a lot, as if the author was just trying to pad words. This pattern seems to repeat al the way to 629. Around chapter 630, the plot changes. Let's talk about how different the plot is. At the end of 629, Kant says they will march to attack the undead in three days. At the start of 630, the undead have apparently been handled. Bunduk is the only remaining hero left from all the heroes he had previously and has seemingly lost his special powers and become an ordinary person.New characters and terms have appeared in place of the other heroes and the Mount and Blade terms. His subordinates seem to have become normal people and not just blindly loyal soldiers. The previous plot with the world nobles seems to have never happened and it basically forgets the whole system that the story is based on. The new plot is based on things that never happened in the original story.I looked for the mtl and the translation definitely follows the mtl. I really have no idea what happened. Maybe Mount and Blade finally caught on to what was happening and stopped the author from using those terms. The novel also ends in like 200 chapters, so idk how the author intends on ending a new story that started 3/4's through the story
