I only thing I can actually appreciate about this book is its updating stability.....MC’s cousin throws him off a cliff because MC touches the cousin’s crush by accident when MC is still believed to be retarded(intelligence=2 year old kid)....I mean is the cousin so retarded to kill to try kill the MC for just that.......(imagine killing a random child because your wife held him because she thinks the child is cute or something)....The MC recieves a ring through which he gains a cultivation technique which he practices without caring about its consequences ....the cultivation technique is written by someone in his dream....it doesn’t have a name to indicate whether it’s a demonic technique or flawed technique and he also takes another technique from the trash and practices it without checking anything(if its in trash, it might be useless for that higher being or it could be incomplete or even harmful).....also he is practically stealing the techniques from the person in his dreams....the nameless method could belong to a sect or organisation who will hunt him later accusing him for stealing(which he did)........In the trial land he asks for permission to cultivate using an orb to which the queen who owns the orb rejects.So he decides to steal it and also acts shamelessly by saying that he didn’t......he also kill the guards and kills the queen’s nephew whose identity he used to steal the orb then he cuts the queen’s arms as punishment for accusing him and says that he left her alive because of her nephew who is his ‘friend’.........If he had that much strength he should have shown it by challenging the queen for a duel or something......you might say that MC should have taken those orbs as he wishes because his master was the one who made them but it would be a flawed logic as if you left something without indicating that’s its yours and years later someone comes and claims to be his successor and demands it.........MC is nowhere like a earthling as a normal **** from earth would be more conservative towards killing, stealing as well as acting shamelessly........The MC didn’t have any enemies besides his father’s killers whom he doesn’t even care about and he also leaves for training leaving behind his mother and grandpa worrying as they did not know about his strength(I can’t believe the MC just left his mother who took care of him when he is retarded and again when he was in a coma......he could have said something like ‘I have gained some technique through enlightenment and became strong’ or ‘I got a mysterious teacher’ to lessen their worry.........He says that he loves his maids when he technically did not stay with them for even a month.....When he reaches a city, he dresses himself a commoner to ‘not attract attention’ but shows them his medallion when guards ask him 1 bronze coin extra then he kills them all when the guards suspect that he stole it(that how it looks it when a poorly dressed kid says when he comes form rich clan—the clans are known to be pompous and he knows it) ....so basically, he tries not to get attention then abandons that plan to save 1 bronze coin and kills every guard when they suspect him and the blames it all on his heart demon......later he offers to buy a horse worth 15 gold coins for 30 gold coins to keep up appearances when acting like a powerhouse then isn’t it logical to give more money to the guards to keep up the appearances as weak cultivator........When inside a alchemy hall he meets a mortal grade alchemist and says that he is a sprit grade alchemist and when that mortal grade alchemist asks him doubts he answers in a haughty tone like’are you stupid to not see this’ when he only has theoritical knowledge only and that too has come from download of the inheritance.........the MC gets all his knowledge because of the inheritance, then what right does he have to call someone who practiced alchemy for decades to get where he was as ‘stupid’...Anyway the MC wants to grows strong but he doesn’t have a reason to as he already forgot about the assassins so there is only aimless world-building....the MC doesn’t show characteristics of 8 year old from cultivation world or a **** from earth but is a mindless blank character who potrays himself to be saint while being a hypocrite and a sore loser who shifts the blame on others like his heart demon when he was the one who chose it form a wide variety of options.....as the MC doesn’t have any goals except becoming stronger, the story becomes full of fillers with no actual content........I have only read 150 chapters to write this review and some might say that the book gets better later on but I personally don’t think it’s a good book when you have to read more than 150 chapters right at the beginning to get to the good part.......

Late review but here's a 5 star, I think you fairly deserve it as the book didn't fail to entertain me as a reader, plus the writing is great there's really nothing I can complain the book is amazingly done.

this just is a copy of shield hero, it even copies all the essentials of the anime, hero has useless class and can't defeat anyone so he gets a slave that likes him and helps him kill things to level up, but people hate him because he offended the king's daughter, ( or in this case the king ). and then at the last part that I saw of shield hero, he awakens a demonic power that uses his rage
