I liked the story line but overall, some areas fell flat. The same thoughts and lines are repeated frequently. The lead female is incredibly dull, not to mention weak so it's hard to buy into her. Especially since it's narrated that she is fierce - but she's not. No steamy scenes FYI.
Sept 15, 2023 442 chapters done. Zach is evil, Ethan is hung up with his ex, Forrest doesn't have power to save Madelyn. Madelyn's losing herself and under Zach's clutches again. Author, can you please make Madelyn stronger? She's so weak. Add another male lead as well. Someone powerful enough.
