Gonna drop this novel... I usually like apocalypse plots a lot and this one had sooooo much potential but it ended up getting ruined. There is not enough work on the character's development or even the plot. To get the story going, there always has to unnecessary killing, suffering, hating and for the simplest trivial reasons ever. The ML is soft, not decisive at all, just like a background character. You don't feel his presence at all. The FL has this superhero syndrome when she is pregnant, doesn't have any means to protect herself or the people around her, is arrogant and secretive about sh*t she shouldn't be, doesn't listen to anyone and OMG so dumb. It hurts me that I spent an entire day reading it hoping to see some changes but it just gets worse. Doesn't recommend at all.
