This isn't that bad. The problem is that the title is misleading and because there are no tags there's nothing to warn you that it's not a wuxia novel. It could be that the author intended to write a story all about the martial arts and competitions and exciting experiences leading our main character to become the world's best martial artist. If so the author has failed. This story actually seems to be a slice of life story. The synopsis is actually quite accurate in that its style is basically correct for a slice of life story. Probably because I scanned the synopsis for content, rather than really reading it, I assumed it was a martial arts story. As such, I kept waiting for stuff to happen, and not much did. It's not that slice of life stories don't have anything happening in them, it's just that the happenings are a little more mundane like will to pass your exams, or how do get along in school when you're not popular, or how to make enough money to afford whatever hobbies you have, all of which are actually major conflicts for a slice of life, btw.So if you read this expecting a slice of life about a transmigrated MC slowly fitting into a new world and trying to get ahead in the martial arts that this world practices, you might enjoy it. Unfortunately the main character's a little bit self-absorbed and what is probably an attempt to make him more interesting has him turning out to seem paranoid and narcissistic. Aside from that, I feel that slice-of-life shines in the interaction of the characters and the problem here is that the only character with any life is the MC's sister. There is actually a little bit of action at one point, but strangely enough the writing actually tones it down which ends up making it seem a bit ludicrous.I might check back in and see how this is developing and whether the author can make up their mind whether they're writing a martial arts or a slice of life story.0 0 Reply

from the synopsis alone, you can foresee the kind of delicacy you will see inside and surely i wasn't disappointed at all. Secret identities and all that makes me feel as if i have it all and i am glad that i get to come across this book.Even though i am not done reading the whole thing, I am very satisfied with what i have read so far and Author, you did great. this is such a wonderful book.0 0 Reply

Both Miras mother and father looked at her, one with a somewhat greedy look, and the other with a pitying but loving gaze.0 0 Reply
