Dating a stranger

I am not sure how people are praising the story.  Because of them I went ahead and read till almost 500 chapters. After each chapter I had to convince myself that its still too early and maybe the good part is coming. But no more. The story is crap. Overused cliches in the worst way possible. Author uses every single trope possible. Whether it's the carriage carrying some high profile ,  running through the city and killing people in the way or stupid enemies from auctions. Restaurant table cliche?  Done... MCs power is special.  Bull ****. It's just devouring and increasing own cultivation. God of slaughter is the same,  that War God Soul novel is the same,  Eternal King is the same. I don't even remember how many novels are there which have growing spirit. MC is also just a bull. Running everywhere without thinking of the consequences. An dlater he cries saying he needs to be stronger. And this has already happened 15-20 times in 500 chapters Sect is basically the low level copy paste of all other novels. Including the Gangs inside and the sects top child being its leader. Boooriiiing. And sect fights every few chapters.  Can't they fucking use something new?  It's also done on the most boring way possible. One good thing is amount of filler.  It's less.  But side stories are so much that it doesn't matters. Overall rating? Overrated thrash. Waste of time. U less you have nothing to read. It's not the worst thing out there but it's just too monotonous and boring. It's like salted chips. Bland.  And usual. Basically you can never go wrong with it. As its so tried and tested that it should get an award for it.

Synopsis is a little off, He doesn’t get his seal broken bu just waking up one day, It will probably take him quite some time to break it. The story is okay so far, The Mc is being forced by circumstances to move along but And doesn’t have much of a choice. I hope the story gets better and he isn’t just forced to do things like the usual asian novels.

The story started out fine, but then about halfway in they leave the medieval setting and travel to WW2, which was a radical difference from the beginning. Eventually most of the chapters are just repeats. And then some weird stuff about their parents and dying and the story goes silent, and all the chapters named [updated  later] and not updated.Also during that halfway plot the whole revenge against his team who betrayed him just dissapears. I don't find it makes sense to go with a WW2 setting halfway through.

The story has a very interesting and unique premise with a twist on the inner demon troupe where the MC is the inner demon.I can get a good of the character’s personality and motivations due to it being stated so bluntly, but often the characters actions don’t end up following the description like the MC being described ad emotionless and uncaring but still using polite language and the insanity is also not shown very well. Certain characters also act completely against the atmosphere set up which breaks immersion like when a certain character feels jelous of another character when they should be overwhelmed by dread of being in the presence of an entity leagues above them.The writing style is very much one where the audience is told what to feel and think instead of building the climax and tention and emotion using the characters and interactions to build an atmosphere.Dialoge of multiple characters is put into one paragraph with too much description of the implications (stating that a character is cautious in the middle of the conversation and that point not being a part of the conversation whatsoever as well as being contradicted in the very same chapter). Flow between character dialogue is akward and stiff as well with all the characters using the same vocabulary (a old character using the same words and having the same way of speaking as a teenager where they should have vastly different styles).CThis story has a the blocks need to build a great story, it just needs plenty of polishing of multiple chapters to the point where I think rewriting would be easier than fixing all the inconsistencies.Pro tip, I would suggest creating character cards to help keep track of the characteristics and personality of your characters when writing to prevent inconsistency and constantly asking yourself what that character would do considering the personality given.MC’s inner emotional struggle has been brought up but is not given the care and attention I think it deserves and has a lot of potential to be fleshed out similarly to the striggle of Saitama of One Punch Man.Would suggest on focusing on that since mc is comparble to the strongest in his world right out of the gate.
