Alone, left orphaned after another world war, Derrek must find his way in an alternate world. In a game where he may not log out, he is forced to compete with others who can. But can he find a place in such a world? Can he make a life for himself? After all, he is logged in for an indefinite period of time, and he doesn't look forward to starving, repetitively dieing slowly... very realistically, and very painfully.
