Welcome to an intriguing tale that unfolds a complex web of emotions. To fully appreciate this book, it's essential to start with its predecessor, "Chasing His." Little did anyone, not even the enigmatic Renee Todd, suspect that their lives were about to become part of a game. For Scott Everett, capturing the heart of his dear friend's daughter was the ultimate goal. However, as an experienced player, he knew it wouldn't come easy, which is why his son, Roy, stepped in. As the game progressed, Roy's feelings for her might have grown genuine. But when the truth dawns on Renee - that her entire love story was just a facade, laced with deceit and betrayal - the blow is devastating. How does she cope with the heartbreak, having been hurt twice? Can she find the strength to forgive the man who gave her everything, Roy? These questions lie at the core of their entangled journey. Delve into the passionate and tumultuous love affair between Roy and Renee, where deception, rivalry, desire, and love collide. Remember, life's opportunities don't always come twice. Will forgiveness be the key to healing their fractured relationship? Keep turning the pages to discover the answers in this ongoing narrative. Thank you for joining us on this emotional rollercoaster! *Content still being refined* ❤️

As much I could understand, the male lead was going to die, his parents didn't wish for him to die single, and they acquired him a wife, for some weird reason the stock of single women was very low and they couldn't get their hands on one, so they got a feminine man and got him shackled with the male lead.
