At the center of the buildings was a large cleared off space. A simple yet elegant castle stood proud and tall in the center of that space. Amaris smiled to herself.
"Alright. We can end the conversation. I promise to help you. You're not alone, Ambar," I spoke softly with sincerity. Ambar nodded her head. The mood instantly lightens. I dragged her along to a nearby restaurant for dinner. As we walked side by side, I abruptly stopped. Ambar bumped into my shoulders. "I forgot to tell you something," I vaguely uttered to Ambar. She tilted her head sideways questioning me. "I really like you." Her eyes widen slightly and a light pink blush painted her cheeks. She was so speechless, that I started to snicker. She looked so cute when she was so clueless and lost. "I really mean it. You don't have to reply me now." I pulled her closer for a hug. Her head neatly tugged under my chin. We were a perfect fit. She hid her face on my chest. I chuckled. Things might be going in the right direction, after all. I swear on my life that I would save Ambar from the curse, even though she feels guilty that she had dragged me into the mess. I don't think she should be the only one to carry the burden. It wasn't her fault that she carries the curse now.
'I remember that in the anime, Goku suffered a very powerful Zenkai, raising his base power to 3,000,000 but, he only suffered the Zenkai because Vegeta almost killed his body. 'Goku thought, calmly.
Noah looked down at the shadows that Gengar disappeared in and sighed before turning to Leaf, "Let's head back to the Pokémon Centre to get Misdreavus checked out. Then we can have that battle you wanted."
This is one of the worst books I’ve read, I just boils my blood first of all the mc isn’t even a villain, his a complete push over, his literally the number one genius but is willing to lower his dignity for opportunity and become a licking dog, and then gets betrayed in ways that doesn’t make sense
The problem I have with this novel is that everything is too hunky-dory for the MC. He's handsome, talented, rich AF and has a rich untalented starkid girlfriend. There's hardly any room for growth, it's a wish-fulfilment story. Everyone loves an underdog story. Perhaps, if he started out as a failure or as the struggling son of a celebrated cricketer, the readers would root for him more. There's no suspense or plot that leaves you nail biting, every chapter you know the MC's going to win like a Boss. Not telling you how you should write, I don't have that authority. There are hardly any novels on this platform on cricket, and I was excited when I found this.
