EXCERPT:
In an intense moment, John bravely broke free from the constraints to get closer to Tom. With a firm grip on his friend's waist, he conveyed his unwavering devotion through the tight hold, whispering, "I can touch you, Tom. Our connection is real. Let's share that intimacy."
Tom's gaze locked onto John, his cheeks flushing even deeper, revealing vulnerability. As if a heavy weight, Tom's hesitation hung between them. Gathering his resolve, John removed his tunic, baring his chest, and took Tom's hand, saying, "Please, touch me." John feared rejection, but Tom surprised him by extending his hand in response.
SYNOPSIS:
Fleeing a dying planet, the Zen people find solace in Earth, where the United States welcomes them as refugees under the President's executive orders. These directives establish a sanctuary for shape-shifting aliens, like the Zen, on the condition that they adopt human appearances, register with human names, and contribute to society through work or volunteering.
Unbeknownst to them, two friends, who publicly declare themselves "married" during registration, stumble upon a legal bond that threatens to transform their friendship into something more profound. Will John and Tom embrace their accidental marriage as a chance at love, or will they resist the unexpected path their lives have taken?
