This year, Alice Grey is determined to turn a new leaf and form friendships, hoping to find love and perhaps even overcome her past as a bullied individual. Entering college, she's eager to create a supportive social circle. However, her heart sinks when she learns that her tormentor from the past, Nathan Douglas, will also be attending the same institution. Nathan Douglas, a talented prospect for the NHL, is unsure about his future path after hockey. On campus, he enjoys playfully teasing Alice about her innocence, which only adds to her embarrassment. Surprisingly, every night, Nathan experiences vivid dreams where Alice becomes his future spouse. As these dreams become more real to him, Nathan starts to view Alice in a different light.
