The idea is nice but unfortunately it feels like you are reading the essay of a grade school kid. The grammar is … well non existent.

while the premise of the story is interesting, the overall story seems to be almost a wish fulfilment.the author did almost no research on any country mentioned.  they just took their experience in china, put a USA lens on it and calling it a day.   same for the Russian spies with American names was also an odd choice since the seemed to be the only protagonist that has appeared.  I would give more details but I don't want to spoil it.  read the free chapters and judge for yourself but I wouldn't recommend this.

All in all, it's a great story.It has a good story, and I haven't found any big flaws.It has great characters with realistic personalities, many times better than you would expect from a novel here on Webnovel...The translation is spot on and I have not found any obvious grammatical errors, nor have I seen any awkward wordings (although I'm not a native English speaker). I am certainly recommending this novel.Review as of Chapter 18.

I'm not going to read it because it looks like it won't please me, I just stopped by when I noticed how much the title and synopsis are so inconsistent with the cover.

The story is...ok, but it's also really rushed and the lack of proper grammar kind of hurts my brain a little bit, the character is kind of meh and so is the world, though mostly it's the messy writing that really annoys me, does the author not know how to properly punctuate? If English isn't your first language than I can understand that but if that's the case shouldn't you get a beta reader or something? Also, the story is really rushed, and the MC is kind of all over the place, I'll drop it for now but I'll check on it every once in a while to see if it gets better

It's not going to be everyone's cup of tea, so I won't lie and say it's the best novel on this site. Give it a read, if you aren't interested in the first ten chapters then you probably won't fully immerse. However, I must say it was worthwhile writing this, so I'm sure it's going to be worthwhile for some of you to read this as well.Review:World Background: As of now not much about the world has been explored as it is still very early into the plot. Though I have plans of creating a massive world with its own history and politics, we will have to wait and see if I have the ability to deliver.Writing Quality: Though I speak English often, I am not a native speaker. That's to say, my writing is readable, but not impeccable. However,  I don't believe that it takes much from the quality of the story, but you will notice a few errors here and there. Story Development: The pacing is rather on the slow side, though it is to be expected with the type of story I am trying to create. As of now, not much has happened in the plot, but it is indeed beginning to thicken,Character Design: I try my best to give my characters depth, and though it does not show now. I have already set the foundations for future character growth and hence dimension.Overall an average story told by an average author. Though you would do well not to assume you have any clue whatsoever where my novel is heading. The media I consume is vastly different from that on this site, and my end game will go in a different direction from most third-rate work that is devoured here.Happy reading.
