Hi! This is kera, an editor of the international writing contest SWA II. I believe your book has great potential, so I invited you to join in a week ago. Please reply to me so I can discuss this with you in detail.
Very easy to read translation wise, 5 stars there.Stability of updates seems pretty decent, 4 stars there.Well, let's get into the thick of it, the story development just doesn't feel 'real' it's like reading a manifesto. It's honestly so dreadfully boring with very 2 dimensional characters, I really, really tried to enjoy it because I have nothing else to read but it's just not possible. The world background is also pretty shallow and it's clear that the author wanted the world to be 'better' from his own POV like China ruling over Japan and Korea. The issue here is that he lacks the skills to write it properly without just stating 'China rules over Japan and Korea'.I must say that this story uses A LOT of copyrighted and well known characters/stories which kinda feels bad especially since it comes off as very rude towards the authors of said stories. The MC has pretty much no personality except being lazy and wanting to be a proper main characters in the sense that everyone will look at you, adore you, and that sort of thing, instead of being a backdrop (which she won't really graduate from)I'll end this review with saying that I absolutely love, love the concept of her golden finger but unfortunately the author just couldn't write up to par compared to his idea.
This novel is barely in the reading to pass time zone. The problem is that the world building and the mechanics of the magic system aren't defined in a consistent way. Which leads to the MC being awesome, but not comparable to anything. If one can reach a rank with enough training, why does the difference between spells matter so much? Why is it important to condese magic power? The author simply tells us it is and we as the readers have to accept it.An example is the fact that the MC always practices only the basics of magic and so far only one element. Why? Why are the basics so important? I understand that the basics can strengthen the foundation and this is important, but even the most patient and wise humans on the planet know that advanced techniques are important in any field, that is why they were developed. It feels like the only reason the MC practices at all is to get the system rewards, which is what actually gives him strength. It is like he goes to work every day for money, he doesn't gain anything during practice, he just gets rewarded for doing so.MC is also way to passive and mostly a nonentity in this story. We could literally exchange him for any other student and nothing would change.
"Fate presented two cards and she chose both." Isn't this enough captivating caption to make me 'need' to read this?Your style is beautiful, and your story unique. Sure I won't regret exploring the journey of your work.
I hope that someday I will see your novel on live broadcast or anime at least because it is very great out of all the configurations Oh my God really you are a genius
Interesting story, so was the character. It was actually more interesting for me to read this novel than usual because I have also written a novel where the MC is extremely OP at the start but the setting was different.
