Something that was actually tangible that they could have prevented instead of 'oh, well I cried on you while you were dying and holding your hand so we both went back in time before my brother time-leaped for the first time so the totally unnecessary darkness that was inside me is gone now with no explanation'. I think it could've been a cool concept if it would have been thoroughly explored and affected more than just Mikey (which would have made sense given the context we were given with the 'darkness'). This ending just feels undeserved on their part and incredibly rushed.
