I'm definitely rereading this in its entirety. It's too bad Boruto is centered around.....well Boruto, because if Naruto was still the main main protagonist, the big 3 would have been back together in shounen jump which would have been fucking crazy and lit; considering with how since 2017 people have been trynna establish a "new big 3" with my hero, black clover, jjk, aot, etc. All in all, it's amazing to have bleach back

The return of Nisioisin in the pages of Shonen Jump. Last time he had a serialized manga in it was Medaka Box, which ended in 2013.

I wonder if they'll have another kid. It's a bit of a gap but I feel like they might try to grow the family.

Well, this is different. but I like the direction it is going, while it's very common in manga to value friendship, and bonds and all that it gets really tiring sometimes. Here, the protagonist actually is self-aware. He refused to be pampered, instead of staying in his comfort zone in godai, he chose the hard way. He choose out. Even if it means he has to sever the ties, and broke(?) up with the girl he liked.

I mean common trope usually ends up with Ruo joining Godai out of heartbreak, or both stays in Godai due to the friendship or saving thingy, but I detest those. Ruo's baggage is not Junpei's responsibility.
I dunno, this manga just felt 'mature' since it lets the protagonist be able to make the decision that actually matters for him instead of the common friendship/bond thing and it feels fresh.

Now I just hope this comment doesn't age poorly after the few arcs like some other manga.
