I wish it wouldn't keep wasting the last few pages on the old man, nothing ever happens. If it's trying to build up to some event it would be more effective to do it every few chapters instead of every single chapter.

This is too painful to read. MC’s relationship with that sage girl is too shallow and his goal is pretty much uninspired. And like what DenizenStar said earlier, the awkward dialogue and forced cliche moments make this manga a chore to get through. I recommend you to look for a better series than reading this one.

I actually really like this manga. But judging from some of the comments here, I think this manga needs a bit of a trigger warning. Just from reading the first few chapters it should come as no surprise that Meguro is very warped. She lacks emotion and her prior relationship experiences have twisted her sense of normality when it comes to human interaction. Following this story and seeing the interactions between the main pair can be frustrating and off-putting because of this. It definitely doesn't help that Koga's so meek and lacking in confidence either.

Kind of insane when you think that this has one chapter more than Gachiakuta and they are worlds apart in every aspect of quality. Not trying to hate, just point out the blaring differences. Obviously different strokes for different folks and they aren't even the same type of shonen; but I'm baffled that this author is soooo dry and basic AND that it sells.

Is that the end of this or is a 2nd volume coming?
