Dropped at chapter 45. Heavy angst and a very toxic relationship. Plus pretty hard on the psychological trauma. Not my cup of tea, but I did think the art was decent. If you're into this type of plot, give it a shot.

Surprised at all the positive comments ,,, I was wishing for her to rather die than end up with him.

To be honest, this story can be very frustrating to read when the leads don’t communicate and conclude that if one wasn’t here, the other would be happier. A lot of sensitive themes as well. Normally I would have drop it but I genuinely felt so bad for the fl that sometimes I wished I could comfort her. That was how into the story I was when I read it, I never felt so much emotions when reading a manhwa. Neglect can seriously change a person if its very bad.

The ml on the other hand is kinda ass like how is he not getting it even after so long that what fl wants isn’t Money but for him to be by his side?? He doesn’t get it and he only regrets it after rashly saying hurtful words to the fl. How is this guy even the ml?? At this point, I’m guessing the author will offer us a redemption arc which explains why does he act the way he does and blah blah. The reason why I’m reading this is because I’m rooting for a happy ending the fl deserves

In short, if u hate miscommunication themes and are uncomfortable with sensitive themes, don’t read this. However, if u r ok give it a try. Prepare to shed some tears here and there

This manga is no doubt very exhausting to read, but it is absolutely a page turner. I found myself crying and just feeling so heartbroken for the FL every chapter for the first half of season 1. I think the author does an amazing job at depicting on how neglect can absolutely shut down such a bright person. Although I can't completely empathize with ML, I understand that he's very much so broken and is fighting with his own demons. So I cant like him but I also don't hate him. I hope the author continues to shed light onto the ML's side of the story, not as a way of redemption but simply because he deserves a chance to be better understood and not just judged upon first impression.

    **Thoughts after sifting through comments:
I think those that keep commenting that all these misunderstandings would be resolved of the two leads would just sit down and honestly talk are missing the entire point. Yes, the conversations might help push the relationship forward a bit for a short time period. But the problems between the leads are obviously very deep rooted and entangled that it will take more than a few candid conversations to heal.

Okay, I like this. It’s sad, but that’s also the reason why I temporarily stopped reading this. I’ve no problem with the end of the season (the FL became happy finally), but the next season? No no no no no. FL’s already happy, and now the ML’s sad. GOSH CAN THEY JUST COMMUNICATE? The ML can’t tell the truth, but the FL easily believes the lie even though it’s obvious that it’s a lie. This is so stupid, the first season FL was the one who went through that situation. Now the next season is the ML going through the same situation as the FL in the last season, but the FL doesn’t notice even if it’s that obvious. It’s driving me crazy. So I stopped reading this, hopefully temporarily.

I liked the idea at first and the story was interesting, but Winter is just too much of a dick for me to like. Violet has faults but some of the things that happens to her are just too much. I want these two to divorce and go their separate ways but the story seems to be trying to pair them up. I really don't like this because again, Winter is a dick and just finds different ways to be either apathetic, angry or possessive and doesn't listen to Violet. The body swapping is interesting and tragic but the ideas and promising beginning for me aren't enough for me to keep going.

Time of Review: Chapter 56 (Fan TL)
Favorite Aspect: Honestly the pacing is pretty good, surprisingly.

As a heads up, while I know it's plastered on some of the early pages this series should just have a huge suicide / death / abuse warning on like almost every chapter. It is not really a light read and can get pretty upsetting, even though it is pretty dramatized. With that out of the way...

I don't... I don't even know where to start with this webcomic? I can't even give it a rating, it's hard to definitively call it good or bad. The flow and pacing of the story is surprisingly good, even if many of the plot points are over-dramatic and blown up for the point of the story. I have genuine sympathy for the main character, and I feel the reason I keep reading is so that she can hopefully, hopefully, get the happy ending she deserves. Without her absolutely terrible husband, preferably.

Let me tell you, I've read a lot of webcomics with emotionally stunted male lead, but this dude takes the CAKE. His problem from the get go is that he doesn't listen and 56 chapters in, despite the minuscule amount of progress is made he still doesn't listen. I'm genuinely sick of this dude, but I'm not down with what he's attempting at this point in the comic either. Get a therapist, dude! Lord knows you have the money. Actually, instead of swapping bodies for him to understand Violets feelings, more people just need to throw his money back in his face! That's one of the biggest contributors to his actions, and no one in the story except for violet turns down his money, which is unreasonable.

If you want a good body-swap story, don't read this. If you want an okay drama and a woman's struggle to survive abuse and (hopefully) come out on top? Maybe give it a try.

You Might Also Like: I honestly have not read any other webcomics quite like this
