    And mostly it's just dumb. Noel was ruthless, devious and to some degree... cruel was because he's fully aware of his limit and what he can't do. The only thing that'd happen if he was 'knocked down few peg' was it'd made him even more cruel and vindictive.

    It'd be different story if the people he has fucked over the years came to bite him in the ass like the rest of blue beyond or some other people he has ruined. But narratively it doesn't made sense. The member of blue beyond is in slavery for years, the villager girl is dead, and the remnant of skywing is literally being stopped by Leon. Ofc there may be more people who has grudge to Noel, which made sense if the narrative suddenly introduced one.
