McQueen was hell of a manipulator to that straight guy, Yeowon, who lies to be loved... sexy, well, I haven't read the novel yet, but I can tell it was well-made; it had a kick, and some parts will undoubtedly make everyone thrilled and emotional.

The pacing of the story was amazing. Oh yeah, let's appreciate how one of a kind the plot is and how spectacularly well-written this is, such as how the complexities of characters were portrayed, the realistic way of living, heartfelt confessions and the emotions shown will deeply penetrate the back of your heart. Also, I noted that most of the minor characters had their own arc, which provides us, the readers, with a satisfactory finale.

Some may be annoyed by a character; I was as well, so reading the novel will definitely help understand them stronger. I love the flavor it gives, the toxicity they have, and adding 'art' in the process... It's beautiful; definitely will recommend

I read it in one night so I need to get some sleep and think over before I rate, but it's sure an attention grabber

I love BL but I love beautiful stories first and foremost. Walk on Water happens to be a parcel full of everything I look for in a good BL series! Glad to come across this title again since I stopped halfeays through S1 at the time

The story touches on such sensitive topics like porn industry, morality, consequence of choices, complicated love, and aaaa I'm a total mess of a fujoshi right now to articulate since I just finished the series today. It has been a total roller coaster of emotions and some chapters were so hard to go through but the flow and the pace was put together so well, it literally reads fluid like running water. Love to the author for the narratives especially Yeowoon. It reminds me so much of noir movies idk but this would look good in black and white -- I'd still devour this story!!

The characters were complex and well-defined. They all have their motives, the emotions so damn raw I felt like my skin was peeled from the revelations, and unbearable unfoldings. Yeowoon and Creed are such amazing guys and I am glad at the ending they arrived at!! I think I'll read another series and look back on how good this is, how sweet everything was between them, and the Epilogue that took my breath away! Gosh, I'm being emotional eyyy

I hope this gets a print media someday! I love my physical copies and want to support the author and artist as much as I can! JAXX can expect me following their projects bec I love the art!

Tl;dr but this for all those looking for a hard-boiled, not your typical, but contemporary BL with a deep and rich story, raw characters, amazing art, and beautiful narrative! Happy Pride!

141123: Started this one after my friend's recommendation. Of course McQueen's looks grabbed me real hard. Firstly thought it will be just quick read and forget, but i really enjoyed it as a whole. Characters had some depth, I could follow their rights and wrongs, development of character and feelings. ALSO important to notice - great support characters!! Janine doing god's work

Despite what the low rating comments suggest, this work doesn't romanticize the porn industry and toxic relationships at all. Everything was handled maturely and sincerely despite the plot setting. I was actually surprised of the decent amount of smut considering porn being a main element, those scenes weren't even explicit but very classy. It still manages to portray different views on the porn industry.

The story itself progressed naturally and the pace was just right. Though there was a lot of implicit motives to work out, it was easy since the writing and art combined made me read this work like a movie. The depth of each character and their relationships were explored widely. Mistakes were made and acknowledged, as I said, nothing gets romanticized. I love that nothing was glossed over for the sake of the relationship in the end. Despite everything this was a very sweet and romantic story.

It left me really emotional in a sentimental way and I'm looking forward to future works.

Straight guy is in a lot of debt. He does gay porn to get out. He is suddenly gay and a bottom for the rich male CEO of the porn company that hits on him. The fact that the seme (McQueen) hits on and pressures the main guy into more and more things outside his comfort zone.

Ed was fine with masturbating in front of the camera, then McQueen wants him to have sex with some guy, then another guy, THEN he wants him to bottom with another guy, THEN all of a sudden McQueen will be the one sleeping with Ed, and McQueen kept getting his secretary to pressure Ed into it.It just feels like he prayed on Ed and other broke guys and roped them into his gay porn business.

I don't understand the thought process. McQueen really used his place of power to pretty much manipulate Ed into sleeping with him and it just gave me such weird vibes.

Then when awful shit comes out about McQueen and they break up. Ed starts sleeping with men for money? Then McQueen randomly shows up months later right after Chang rapes Ed for who the fuck knows what reason and they get back together? The whole rape part seemed really shoehorned in. Chang suddenly wants to sleep with him because he's suddenly been into him the whole time after playing a minor role in the webtoon as a reminder that, oh yeah! Ed is broke. Don't forget that's why he's suddenly doing gay porn even though he's totally straight.

If you want decent smut, this is for you. If you want an actual story with depth, pass on it.

This story is great. it will make you feel emotional. This is not a regular smut that's for sure.
