This is one of the funniest I've read, almost as funny as Love Advice From the Great Duke of Hell, and it has some cool action to go with it.
The first 50 Ch are absolutely hilarious. This manwha is a super hero comedy based on misunderstandings which I absolutely loved. I was laughing out loud every chapter, something that almost never happens to me reading comics. The Grandma is my top 5 fave characters ever.
Still, I think that the story should already be over. I can't imagine that nother 70 or so chapters for the second season will do this story any good, unless it's going for a Katekyo Hitman Reborn! route and trying to change the genre from comedy to something else.
It's just so irritating to see characters misunderstand. I guess this type of story is just not for me.
The core premise is neat, but the misunderstandings and plot progressions are based on some extremely handwavy writing. Rosa barely makes an attempt to hide her identity, for example, and somehow stays mostly undiscovered anyway.
Idk, the idea is solid but the story feels very forced. There is a lack of overall characterization and the author is continuously forcing in these "misunderstandings" that keep the characters in a constant annoying loop. Tropes like that can really drag a story down and i don't know why authors continue to do it. It just very lazy and makes it a boring experience, a broken record. Almost as if they don't know what they want to do with the story. The characters aren't THAT stupid, but just for plot convenience their IQ's plummet into the negatives. The direction of the story doesn't make any sense based on the events so far. While its had its goofy funny moments (which is what initially kept me reading) the story has just become boring.
Going to drop for now and pick it up again later on when there is a large enough backlog I guess. Hopefully by then they are past this braindead loop.
Idk about you guys but this manhwa is funny af. Literally my cup of tea.
I didn't mind the fl being completely ignorant/stupid about the effects of her abilities. But the dumb misunderstandings and clichéd love triangle is just too much. She's just too stupid and doesn't do anything right. Not really a fan of these kind of protagonists.
Great set up, but the characters lack characterization, you can easily predict what is gonna happen, and sometimes it feels cringy
One thing to note is the translators are not doing this manwha any favors, it feels machine translated rather than actually being proper. This causes all the character to have the same akwardness in their speech, which makes it hard for people to understand what the heck is going on
I would recommend that someone that actually know the language teanslate this work, as the current translators are not doing any favors by translating this work
