    It's funny how MC's upbringing is something that could totally have been played for drama. Gaslit his whole life, no peers, just training. Had only a twin to share it with until she got sucked into another realm and had his memory wiped and lied to on that front too. That could easily be a villain origin.

    Cause most Harem MC are *bait* for a *harem*, 90% of harem protagonists aren't really harem protagonists. Also for some reason either mangaka or the culture is/are afraid of harem endings. (that's why I appreciate mangaka who give multiple endings to their harem manga, those are the real ones)
