the first 30 or so chapters are kinda like that but way more wholesome than nagatoro, like there's no weird fetishes and that... but later on, curses, especially his one, becomes central and so does the witch, sade, but it still has some "teasing" moments. But alice has loved him from the start (quite obv).

He mentioned in previous chapters that he wished to make a common enemy for humanity to stand together and in turn makes the hero a indispensable figure so the same thing that happened to him won't happen again. Whether he kills heroes or not to cut even a fraction of a chance for failure, we will see next chapter I guess.

I see a lot of hate for this story but I'm still going to throw my 2 cents in because this story is very well written and has had a great impact on me.

Personally this story means a lot to me, it is a realistic (as real as fictional dating of a celebrity can be) depiction of a relationship between people who truly love each-other and want what is best for the other while still wanting to be happy themselves and pursuing their dreams. No relationship is perfect, and this is expertly reflected in the story, between any relationship you see depicted.

My ex-girlfriend of 3 years and I broke up in college and it hurt badly, but this story and its shocking parallels to myself helped me see a few options of the future in myself. It helped me get over our breakup and start getting over my ex; there are other paths out there, and there is someone who can fit with you like a puzzle. (1/2)
