The narrative unfolds in Italy during the 19xx era. The mafia is in the midst of choosing a new leader, with two primary contenders who have been rivals since childhood. Also, hope Fumiko dies from that. She's been a problematic crazy lady since she showed up and now she's willing to sacrifice her whole body to get rid of the one person who could actually help avoid that prophecy?? She's honestly earned her gruesome end in the story at this point. Plus, she abandoned Nayuta and Denji when she could of helped and that kinda led to the former getting killed. So f**k her.
Wouldn't be surprised if by the end of this most of the Division are wiped out, and Quanxi just takes off with her girlfriends bodies with a simple: "Told you so.".
