He's trying to cope with things changing too quick plus  they're extremely inexperienced with dating/romance which is why the side characters are the true MVPs of this series!.. Its a slow burn sure but when it starts going its a page turner till the end

This manga gives me "My Happy Sugar Life" vibes. Not as gory or as intense, but a pretty decent ride so far.
