Absolutley phenomenal, it starts out as a funny rom com in the beginning and remains throughout. But as you get pass a certain number of chapters like 80 or so, some questions start to be asked, like questions about certain things that had happened in the earlier chapters, questions that should be answered, however, These question are usually soon forgotten by the reader as they continue reading the funny daily life of the main characters.
At a certain point the manga changes tone (abeit a little too suddenly in my taste) the tone change is what makes this manga so unique and will most likely answer whatever questions the reader had before in the back of their mind.while the tone change does impact the direction of the manga, it is still able to hold its funny rom com element, but there is also another element added to the story, i dont want to say, but it is very interesting.
Overall, this is byfar one of the more memorable mangas i have read, i really like it, if i were to put it into a real list, it would be up in the top 10.
Sugar Manga with so big mystery about female lean. Is she immortal? Is she from moon? Why she know that many things about past which nobody else know? Or mayby she reincarnated?
Reading the manga as I write this. Currently at Chapter 38. This manga is so freaking sweet even ants get sugar high. It's light, very very funny, and easy to read. Characters are well thought of, and they are not boring. If you want a break from the action and thriller genre, give this a try.
Really innocent and cute manga, on the surface. Yet hidden in plain sight is a mystery. There is something just not right about the female lead. Shes not entirely normal and possesses old knowledge she shouldn't have, shes the tiniest bit inhuman yet at the same time young and naive and in all respects a young girl. Its all connected with the moon or space somehow.
The mystery is interesting and adds some nice spice or flavour to the story. Pacing have not been an issue yet and the mentioned mystery background keeps you intrigued. A tensive 7 so far.
Edit: The mystery is ignored, it was a red herring, the lovestory goes nowhere. The neverending cutesy and innocent stuff makes you nauseous the longer it goes on. Manga had promise which wasn't realized. 5
Hayate took 20-30 chapters to establish itself then exploded into greatness but I stared reading it around chapter 300. So this can be said to have gotten past the initial setup.... Maybe? It's ok but maybe I need the initial binge to appreciate it.
Interesting from a Shounen manga perspective as it's usually about a protagonist that never makes a move for 300 chapters rather than about after married life. Very cute, a bit of humor, but more slice of life than anything else. Recommended because of the subject matter usually not appearing in Shounen format.
