I really like this little spin on the genre by author, coz although it's nothing much different from the streotype of villainess genre, but given how they have made this series into such a high stakes drama where even little arguments makes you wanna buckle up for a rollercoaster of emotions, the sheer impact of the reveal that the heroine was always 'meant' to be corrupt is so much more staggering.
