putting this on hold cause it was wholesome but plot is really not intriguing enough to keep going.

nice character designs, especially the cute kids.

had too many things to read so unfortunately i have to let this go to make room. might go back when it's completed.

This is mostly a wholesome romance with lots of cute children doing cute things. That part is nice since the art is very good. The MC is a tall, dark and unfamiliar with buttoned shirts.

However, the plot for this is pretty boring and it gets more and more tiresome in the later chapters. Something like this needs to be providing a lot of the cute wholesome scenes and humor, but we get too much pointless and exceedingly boring, poorly written plot. This is why the series quickly dropped from 8 to 7 to 6 and will probably drop further.

Example (minor spoiler):

At one point she solves a pretty simple problem by re-inventing a magic operated Tamaguchi and producing dozens if not hundreds of them in half a day with the real magic of things happening off screen. Like why ? Why make this convoluted mess ? It was also completely useless and never used to solve the original problem it was invented for. With this kind of high quality writing, just forget about scheming and draw more children blowing soap bubbles that turn into flowers as the fall down. That is inventive and fun.

The romance being dumb is also annoying. Just be half as discerning as a house plant and advance the relationship already, I don't have time for this nonsense.

There is barely a plot here.

I thought she was going to open a cute stationary store through her own hard work. Instead, so far she has enslaved 2 magical entities and this is the protagonist😕? It's so bad I could cry, dropped after ch 11.

such gorgeous artwork and a great story and plot!! this had me punching the air out of cuteness overload or laughter and every character is so lovable (except for the villains they can burn in hell >🙁 it’s a perfect fluffy feel good story that you never want to stop reading! can’t wait for season 2 whooo

Yes, I am an adult who loves going to candy stores and stationary stores. This story appeals to me mostly because of the trinkets. However, there also a revenge subplot or is that the main plot, I can't tell my eyes are glued to the design of the beer candy and bubbles.

There are less cute stationary items as the story goes on. Was 6/10. Now 5/10.
