    I am currently reading the WN. At chapter 9 (WN), it is explicitly stated that Marianne's father is the same as Haruto's, but she has different mother.

    Incidentally, it is at chapter 22 of the manga where Marianne calls Haruto's mother "step-mother".

    what a surprising and well done manga. i completely agree with the other comments. its heart warming, and fun. great imagination in the story. a pleasant lighter read for when its needed.

    A lot of the people in this section are simply too immature to get the point of this manga. Good and evil are creations, while harm is not. Yusuke was harmful, but also helpful. He was a fully complex and multifaceted person who did a lot of bad, but then a lot of good. The end of the manga literally just says "Interpret him however you want, I wont call you wrong or right." BECAUSE good and bad are not objective, there is no right answer. Just interpretation.
