I’ve read up to chapter 100.
Quick summary : the MC wishes to become an “awakened”, and on an unfortunate incident gets his wish granted basing his stats/talent on an old game he used to play and begins a journey to defeat monsters and dungeon breaks with his OP abilities.
As Ascension, the previous poster, has said, this story is lacking.
The premise is not ground breaking but decent, and the actual story has so much potential with some many good elements to make it great, even the development has good points HOWEVER it fails so hard to put it together. The story telling, the explanations, the world building, the sequencing, the time skips, the rhythm and the art are all off. Even the frames and speech bubbles are either rushed or lack depth - but the idea is there which makes it sooooo frustrating. It’s like all the right musical notes are present, nonetheless, the form and tempo are way off.
Anyway, it’s not one of the great and not one you’ll remember in time. However I do feel if someone or a couple of talented people reworked this, it could be truly great. Bringing in more depth and vision and a revamp could make it one of the greats, and it doesn’t need much in my opinion.
Even though the series looks interesting, due to art, and the premise of the story.... unfortunately I found it very lacking.
Specifically what I hate about it the most, is the fact that it skips periods of time and just jumps from one thing to another without any explanation whatsoeveror a half-assed attempt at an explanation that makes no sense.
For example:
This all happened in like 4 chapters.
This time skip is the main thing that I hate, but there are other issues there. He's too OP, and nothing is explained properly. First chapter he's crying that he wants to be an awakened, then next chapter he gets to be awakened, and all of sudden he's the bravest mtf in the world. The author tries to explain it as the "system" improving his mentality. Then after getting awakened, he can randomly use skills from 3 classes, copy items, he acts like hot sheet with everyone else even though he's been an awakened for 2 days. Other than him everyone else is either weak people or people that are trying to fk with him on purpose with no reason. It's like typically chinese wuxia/xianxia novels condensed into very very short chapters to the point you don't know what happens. I lasted until chapter 32 until I couldn't anymore, and gave up.
GL to those of you braving past and reading this crap. o/
