The koenji's plaza in chapter 2 was actually like that irl, I lived close to it and it's a hub for young people to gather, they would break dance and rap and even tho alot of them look rough, they were really nice, I remember borrowing lighter from them and would lend me without a thoughts, there are all kind of izakaya around that area 4 years ago and now too but too bad chinese flu hit and the area hasn't recovered since.

So I was reading and watching some things here and there, and a theory and maybe facts (can't confirm) came up that this series suffered a lot of interference from editors around the part where this series enters the training arc.

Considering that it is around that part that the series loses a LOT of interesting parts and the pacing seems strange and simply completely throws away the feeling of the premise it had, and the story of editors interfering because they think something isn't interesting and just throws the rhythm out of wack (even if there have been cases where this does end with good results).

There is some really fundamental change in the feel of the story around that training arc as if the author tried some crazy stunt but didn't stick the landing, now I think otherwise.

Editorial interference can be a bitch, but still necessary.

Only read up to chapter 21 if you don't want to be disappointed with the next chapter. My rating for this is 5 out of 10 but would be better if it didn't end up like that. You will know what I mean if you decide to read the next chapter.
