As DhariaCole (commenter below) said the story start strong. I agree with that. If I compare it to something, it's like an exam. At first you are at ease knowing the answer, but as time goes by you become confused and anxious. Just like this story, only the first part are wonderful but as other characters appear, the story became a joke. This is very different from a roller coater ride of emotions but an emotion from happy to disappointment kind of and it still stuck on the emotion, hopefully it will change as the story goes on, we never know. Typical anime plot that only hype at 1st episode. 😆
Anyway, the art is appreciated. It's good and beautiful. Plot is mediocre to this 👉🤡.
For readers who are planning to or started reading this, just beware. It might or might not be for you.
She constantly points out how sad and pitiful the original FL was but she's being the exact same. Pot calling the kettle black, pathetic. I had hoped she would stand firm and not take crap from those around her since she's the freaking empress but nope. Soon as the brother of the body's she's possessed shows up, she gets all simpy, disappointing.
The story starts out strong with a good premise and a smart and determined MC. But the minute she gets back to her childhood home and meets people who didn’t have a major role in the original story, her brain turns to mush and her people reading skills end up in the toilet. It’s painful to see her sudden drop in IQ.
Plus, the character that is clearly being set up as the male lead is hiding his identity while romancing/manipulating the MC. He comes off more like a red flag waving obsessed stalker than a male lead.
