A lot of the dialogue and characterization is still very surface level, even by chapter 20. A lot of backstory has been fleshed out to set up stakes but, beyond the cliched catfights and royal blood politics, the MC's passions and values are still mixed. Spends about three panels every 4 chapters actually involved with running the cafe or tending to it.
