batteryacid925 is mostly correct. When you die in Paradise you get sent back to Earth and lose all of your memories of it. That memory-loss will take a huge toll on your mind and can be anywhere between strong hangover or being reduced to a state of coma or even suicide. The amount of repercussion is related to how much time and contribution you spent in Paradise.
Revival is possible but only once, and it's very costly since you basically need a Wish by the Gods to revive a Person.

Does he stay in the decaying corpse of the hero the whole time or does he eventually get his own body back? Because the idea of him riding that corpse the whole time kinda makes me not want to read it. Only 5 chapters in and the "Something stinks" jokes are already kind of annoying ot me.
