    Reread it to refresh my memory of what happened... man, this is a ride.

    The writing is so chaotic, but I feel that having so much to read helps to keep what happens in mind, and now I think I really understand what is happening, it isn't less confusing because I think Maijou-sensei tried to imitate Nisiosin's style too much and forgot that even with all the wordplay and philosophy Nisiosin still kept things on an understandable track and everything had a purpose.

    Anyway, after reading much of it in one go things became clear, hope the translator keeps doing this one I want to see the end.

    the story is a masterpiece but the characters are so trash that they fail to deliver it. also I feel the story was too subtle for the average readers that it went over their head as just another "one of those weird manga", when it's far from that, Urasawa's message and intention are clear, but he wasn't brave enough.

    It's a power fantasy. It's the same as a rpg in which you get your satisfaction from greater numbers.
    What I like about it is how fast the pace is and how unapologetic it is towards it's own plot.
    It reminds me a lot of the writing of ToyCar from Everyone else is a returnee.
    Personally I like OP characters that grow with the threats they face.
