its fine for what it is "harem fantasy" thats it we're in an age where peope want to force their own view on how stories should be or how they should have more realism" or whatever which is bullshit, read it yourself and if you dont like it just move on.
The comment below is right, the problem is that Koreans love harem so it was doomed to failure from the start...
read "Haitatsusaki no Onee-san ga Kowa Sugiru"peak manga and crush this one
I've just recently found this Korean webtoon and so far, I think it's good. The story focusing on a short adult man in his late 20s, who spent his whole life being looked down upon and made fun of because of his height and young appearance. Until he meets his next-door neighbor who's a very tall and imposing woman in her early 20s, where everyone fears her at first glance because of her reputation. And mind you this is a boy-meets-girl romance story, until the woman reveals that she has two roommates with her. And personally, I think the story would've been better if it was just the tall woman and short man. Because the two roommates feel like a distraction to the story to me, that's my only problem so far. Also, I think the smoking part was pointless because it quickly lost its meaning like 10 chapters after the start of the series.

If you want an ending really consequential, try Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, or Kimagure Orange Road.
For me, this manga has a more enjoyable ending than "We Never Learn", with the multiple routes for everyone, with no real ending. At least this one has an ending where it's clear what will happen in the future. I would have a sequel, with more "proper" development, ecchi situation, or else, so yes, this ending is a bit unsatisfying, but if you check the chapter about the "confession" of Shindou before the match, it's satisfying. He conveyed his feelings into words.
