    The whole self geas plot point is really dumb. "Performing actions with the intent to harm" obviously would have included signalling your collaborators to harm them, since it's in your intent yet Kerry got away scot-free from it. You'd think any mage worth their salt would have known if anyone could bypass such a geas by using others' hands, let alone an esteemed professor at the biggest mage college in that universe.
