    I doubt I can change your mind, but I'd still like to share my thoughts.

    (!!SPOILERS AHEAD!!)

    Everything starts and ends with one simple sentence, Kaeha loves Aesir. It's no exaggeration to say he saved her, her mother, and her Sword-Style.

    Admittedly, I agree, her begging for what's effectively a sperm donation did rub me the wrong way, too. Thankfully, Kaeha's request did not cause a rift between Creias and Martena.

    Why did Kaeha want children? Because Aesir would outlive her by centuries. Perhaps Kaeha believed she could only fully pass down her Arts to her own child, enough to continue inspiring Aesir far, far in the future.

    Why would Creias AND Martena accept? Because of Irena. Before Martena, Creias and Irena were an item. But Irena fearful of his "early" death, ended things. Martena sensed a sort of comradery with Kaeha?

    Kaeha's actions were definitely homewrecker-y. But I am able to look past it and enjoy the rest of Aesir's story.

    This story is good. And when all know who the masked guy is, right? I like the idea of this kinda twist but I wish they could've set it up in a way to make it less obvious, no idea how they could've though. It'll be interesting to learn what all happened in the first timeline at least. Also if there's a ln that's years ahead of this then please no hints on what happens/happened. Also I guess some people might not have realized it so I tried to be sorta vague in this comment
