Okay hear me out. Many people are saying this anti magic buff doesn’t make sense but, didn’t you guys take note of the sword he used to pull this off? Demon dweller has shown properties of borrowing/taking magical attributes and using them for range slash attacks. Tbh this had been the one sword that Asta hadn’t fully mastered the same way Licth did. At best he managed to create black slash but that wasn’t enough. Now if the sword could use magical attributes, wouldn’t it make sense for it to give anti magic attributes as well? I know that this maybe a ‘friendship’ sword at this point but they’ve already justified this possibility multiple times. I think the anti magic buff will of course hinder support from other magic knights but not the black bulls themselves. Then again, they’d need this power cause their chances against the paladins is nearly impossible, at least Daminato proved that already

So all in all this is justified
