Listen, I’m usually pretty chill when it comes to shoujo manga. I don’t mind most problematic things people usually get stuck on, but this manga REALLY takes the trophy. This is an anxiety bomb. The main character has zero self-respect, no self-awareness, is codependent on her relationships (it’s really a struggle to follow her story) and the romance gets destroyed because of it. It’s beyond the point where problematic can be made charming or funny, it’s just really bad. The only way this could’ve turned well was if there had been no end pairing and instead everyone just went to therapy, it’s that toxic. I’ve been reading manga (especially shoujo manga) for 15 years now and I’ve never completely bashed ANY works I’ve read, this will be the exception—it’s really really terrible.

I genuinely believe that rather than switching between the three personalities Mellie will unite all the 3 personalities so that they permanently live in unison. This would mean that characteristics of each would become part of the new Mellie. It's an advancement in both power and character.

Well the didnt go into as much detail with the middle of the night Chris scene as the novels do, but instead of it being as serious/emotional, this version made it more of an innocent interaction, both are fine, onto the swimsuits!
