    Having corrupt churches and evil nobles are easy things to write, because theyre relatable to most readers, or most readers at least buy into it immediately. That doesnt mean its interesting or well written, like this guy just screams forced drama evil noble villain, so he's not interesting at all. Sadly what I like even less are arranged/forced marriage plotlines, like we might be getting here soon, fingers crossed we dont because this has been a really enjoyable read so far, that nonsense isn't needed here.
