As of now, this spin-off is THE best Slime side-story in my opinion. It shows not only how things are throughout the story from the perspective of others, but it also explores the core concepts of Tempest arguably even better than the main story does. By that I mean the core values of Tempest as a nation that includes people from many different species living in harmony, the bonds that they form despite differences, conflicting values and lifestyles, as well as how they unite and support each other physically and emotionally in times of tragedies and despair. These are all things that the Slime Diaries also portrays, but the difference is that Slime Diaries mostly depicts things from a comedic angle while this spin-off here is more so about character growth and about overcoming difficulties and enjoying life, with it being showcased both light-heartedly and seriously.

Oh and the translation, Asura has a fuckton of people and clearly none of the more proficient people care about this, so it's taken care of by some E teams.
It's "fine" but it feels like a lot of things are translated too literally and some sentences have poor flow or odd grammar.
